Employee Benefits & Wellness Health & Wellness The Salvation Army appreciates that serving our community’s most vulnerable population can be challenging; so we offer an array of benefits designed to support the well-being of our employees. Paid Time Off Full-time employees may be eligible for up to 46 days** of paid leave annually: • Up to 12 Sick Days • Up to 20 Vacation Days • Up to 11 paid Holidays • Up to 3 Personal Days 46 paid time off days is the maximum amount accrued annually for a full-time, exempt employee working 40 hours and 5 days per week in the first year of employment. Actual accrued values may be less than those in the example above. Full-time employees are those hired to work 30 or more hours per week. Employees are eligible to accrue Paid Leave following their 90 day Initial Employment Period. Additional Vacation time is accrued after meeting specified years of employment milestones.

Health Insurance Comprehensive health care coverage through The Salvation Army's self-insured plan, which includes low cost employee premiums, co-pays, and deductibles. AD&D Life Insurance Free $20,000 coverage for all full-time staff. Low-cost Voluntary Life Insurance for all staff hired to work 20 or more hours per week at values up to $300,000, and for their dependents/spouses at values up to $10,000. Retirement Plans Pension Plan for all staff hired to work 20 or more hours per week. • Employer contributes equivalent of 6% of quarterly gross earnings into pension account administered through Prudential Retirement • Eligibility begins the first quarter following the first full year of employment.
